Galatians 5:1-4 – Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath
made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Behold, I Paul
say unto you, Christ shall profit you nothing. For I testify again to every man
that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law. Christ is become
of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen
from grace.
Hebrews 6:4-6 – For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened,
and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy
Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to
come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they
crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
Hebrews 3:12 – Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil
heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
1 Timothy 4:1 – Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times
some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and
doctrines of devils;
Acts 2:38 – Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every
one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall
receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Mark 16:16 – He that believeth and is baptized
shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
1 Peter 3:21 – The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save
us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience
toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
Acts 22:16 – And now why tarriest thou? Arise, and be baptized, and wash
away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
Colossians 2:12 -13 – Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with
him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the
dead. And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh,
hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
Ephesians
5:25-27 – Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and
gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of
water by the word. That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having
spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without
blemish.
Romans 6:4-7 – Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death:
that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father,
even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted
together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his
resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the
body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he
that is dead is freed from sin.
John 3:5 –
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except
a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of
God.
Galatians 1:8 – But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other
gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
