Devotional Prayer (7th heart)

By One Who Is Lonely: Lord God, I cry out to You in my distress. Even though I am surrounded by people, I feel isolated ad alone. Comfort me with Your presence. May I trust that I am never alone, for You are always with me wherever I go. According to Your good and gracious will, provide for me caring loved ones and friends. May their love and companionship be a true gift from You. in Jesus Name I ask it. Amen.

For Right Service of God: Merciful God, who has brought us to faith, we offer You our thanks. In love, You taught us how to walk in Your will and serve You in Your Commandments. Though our vocations, You have given us the glorious opportunity of showing our love to You and our neighbors. May we follow our Saviors example, walking in His steps until we inherit heavenly kingdom that He has prepared for us. For His sake, hear our prayer. Amen.

For the Impenitent: Almighty God, You do not desire the eternal death of sinners, but that all would repent and live. Of those who refuse in acknowledge their sins in repentance; we pray You would lead them to faith through the power of Your Spirit. Help them see their sins, remove rebellion from their hearts, and turn them to Your Son, Jesus Christ. Sustain them in Your Holy Church to the glory of Your Name. In Christs Name we pray. Amen.

For Those Persecuted in the Faith: Dear Lord, You Suffered greatly and bore the cross that we might not bear the pain of Gods wrath. We implore You, hear the cries of those suffering the prosecution of Your enemies, and give them strength to bear their cross. Help them to see this cross as evidence of Your love. As You will, ease this suffering from your children and grant rest to their weary souls. Amen.

For Prisoners: Merciful Lord, be with those in prison. Remind them that You sent Your Son into the world not to condemn it but to save it. Raise up people to share with them the Good News that in Christ all sins have been atoned for. Help them find forgiveness in the name of Jesus and be baptized or reminded of their Baptism. In the name of the One who died a prisoner, Christ, our Lord. Amen.

For Our Enemies: Dear Lord, we are all born enemies of God. Jesus died and rose so those who believe would be reconciled to You and have life eternal. Jesus commanded us to love our enemies, to do good, to expect nothing in return, and to be merciful. May we use every opportunity presented to us to show love to our enemies and, by so doing, witness to them of Your great love for u and for them. in Jesus Name. Amen.
